Where is Mahakumbh taking place?
Mahakumbh 2025 is being organized at Prayagraj in Uttar Pradesh. It is the confluence of the Ganges, Yamuna and the legendary Saraswati River. Prayagraj is the second oldest city in India. Prayagraj is one of the four Kumbh regions.
Mahakumbh 2025 will start on January 13, 2025 and will continue till February 26, 2025. In these 45 days, 40 crore devotees will come here from all over the world.
Security system:
Taking into account the rush of organizing Mahakumbh 2025, more than 2700 cctv cameras, more than 100 face recognition cameras, more than 38 thousand jawans will be deployed here along with 56 police stations and two cyber thanes will be active 24 hours a day.
